Event Recap: AIA Ft. Lauderdale 2021 Design Awards

Last month our corporate event team had the pleasure of collaborating with our client, AIA Ft. Lauderdale, for an aviation-themed award ceremony for the American Institution of Architects Ft. Lauderdale Chapter annual Design Awards.

AIA Ft. Lauderdale, one of Cor-Events association management clients, is an organization of design professionals charged with the mission of supporting our Broward County Architects and students of design while connecting them with the building industry leaders of our region. Challenged with dreaming up a unique and memorable event, we thought what better place to host an event that celebrates creativity, than on the runway.

Hosted on Jet Run Way Cafe, a unique venue that is on the tamarac of Ft. Lauderdale Airport, the ceremony featured unique and fun picture props and stations, including a real airplane, delicious catering, themed sponsorships and decor, and beautiful lounge seating and staging.

The Cor-Events team was there, from start to finish, and handled all planning and onsite event management to ensure that the event went off without a hitch.
